Car Charging Group, Inc. (OTCQB: CCGI) (“CarCharging”), the largest owner, operator, and provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services, announced today that Truluck’s, a national, upscale seafood and steak restaurant chain, now provides two Blink Level 2 EV charging stations at its Dallas, Texas location. Located at 2401 McKinney Avenue, the Blink EV chargers are available to the public and operate on the Blink Network, the software that manages, monitors, and tracks the Blink EV stations and all of its charging data.
“Supporting the mass expansion of EV drivers with the charging infrastructure necessary is imperative to the overall success of the market,” said Mike Calise, CarCharging’s Chief Executive Officer. “CarCharging strategy is to continually improve the overall customer experience, which is aligned well with Truluck’s mission of consistently delivering value to the people who enjoy the quintessential dining experience.”
“At Truluck’s, we are focused on providing an upscale dining experience, so we are delighted to also have the ability to provide our customers with a visible, practical, and innovative amenity that enhances the customer experience,” said Bo Dorton, Operating Partner of Truluck’s. “Not only do we support current electric car drivers, but by the amount of customers inquiring about the Blink EV chargers, we are also expanding the awareness of electric cars and the charging process as well.”
Blink Level 2 chargers are able to rapidly recharge electric cars, and accept payment with the Blink InCard or major credit card via the Blink mobile application, Blink Network website, or Blink customer support center. Blink’s free membership offers drivers discounted charging fees on select public EV chargers on the Blink Network. Drivers can pinpoint Blink EV charging station locations and become a Blink member at www.BlinkNetwork.com. In addition to these features, drivers can also initiate charging sessions via the Blink mobile application.
