A kilowatt hour often abbreviated as KWh. It’s a measure of power consumed. For example, a 60 watt light bulb consumes 60watts of power in one hour. For electric vehicles, a Chevy Volt has a 16KWh battery pack, or 16,000 watts of power held by the batteries in the car.
