CarCharging provides EV charging equipment and services in convenient locations including apartment and condominium communities, as well as public locations, such as parking garages, shopping malls, office parks, hotels, and convenience stores. CarCharging can assist property owners with hardware, installation, maintenance, and related services for EV charging stations.
The length of time necessary to charge an electric vehicle depends on the rate at which the electric car charges and the type of charge used. We offer Level 2 EV charging, which provides 240 volts with 32 amps of power, and DC Fast charging stations (DCFC), which are compatible with some electric vehicles. The average time to charge a depleted car battery on a Level 2 EV charger to full capacity is ~3 – 4 hours. A DCFC can charge a Nissan LEAF in less than 30 minutes.
Most EV’s display the charging status on the dashboard. The EV charging station will also indicate the charging status on the display. Additionally, byand activating an EV charging network account, you may enable email and/or text alerts for notifications including:
- Charge Completed
- Charge Stopped or Interrupted
CarCharging offers Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations, which provides 240 volts with 32 amps of power to quickly recharge an EV battery, as well as DC Fast charging statins (DCFC), which are compatible with some electric cars and provide a rapid charge. Additionally, some of our Level 2 EV chargers also provide an additional port for Level 1 charging, which provides 120 volts.

Parking fees depend on the property owner and/or manager. Some parking garages or lots charge parking fees, which are separate from the fees associated with using the EV charging stations.

Improved Air Quality – Fewer emissions means reduced environmental pollutants and improved air quality.

- Maintenance – Electric vehicles, including plug-in hybrid have fewer powertrain components and have fewer maintenance requirements than internal combustion engines, i.e. oil changes, brakes, etc.
Reduced Noise – Electric vehicles are typically quieter and reduce engine noise dramatically.
