The length of time necessary to charge an EV depends on the rate at which the car charges and the type of charge used. Our EV stations offer Level 2 charging, which provides 240 volts with 32 amps of power. The average time to charge a depleted car battery to full capacity is ~3 – 4 hours.
Most EVs display the charging status on the dashboard. The EV station will also indicate the charging status on the display. Additionally, by obtaining and activating your evCharge card, you may enable email and/or text alerts for notifications:
- Charge Completed
- Plug-Out Detection
- Ground Fault Detection (GFCI Trip)
- Over-Current Detection
Our EV stations offer Level 2 charging, which provides 240 volts with 32 amps of power to quickly recharge an EV battery. Additionally, some of our EV stations also provide an additional port for Level 1 charging, which provides 120 volts.
